here is my entry into the cover-up campaign. I call it the battle plan. A group of eastern front soldier awaiting orders from the Lt. This depicts a scene from the front ,the small group is support by a dug in wespe but is low on ammo, awaiting on the Russian advance that is about to happen.

The guy next to the tailboard with his hands in his pockets looks absolutely perished.
Mmmmmmm...snow. For someone in Saudi, it almost makes me feel cool.
...lovely job.
More snow dios please...handy for when the aircon packs up.
Thanks and congrats.

Hi there . You have done a very good job there on planning the setup , snow and as far as i can see the wespe is nice and the figures also. I d like to see some more pictures of it, but for the moment i dlike to help with some points i think would lead to bigger realism:
1. The heater which is nice seems brand new painted which i think in the front would not be an option to do .
2. There is a diversity with the figures. The guys in the shelter are trying to heat uo with heavy coats and the heater on and the guy on the bacl of the wespe is whistling with hands in pockets while outside is at least freezing with all this nice snow you have .
3. From what i can seew in these pictures the figures uniforms look quite untouched by the situation on the front, so i think the should be more weathered to match the situation.
4. It should have been snowing recently there due to th e snow build up on the upside of the barrels and in the entry of the shelter. so i think some snow would have stuck on the side of the barrels also, and from bringing the mud and snow stuff in the shelter the floor should have been more dirty by all time going in and out .
5. Where the heater is located all the warm that produces goes out in the cold and doesnt benefit the soldiers who are in the deep of the shelter so you could move the heater in the deep end part of the shelter near the frozen soldiers and get the exaust from an opening located there . shouldnt be difficult to make a hole in one of the side walls and get the pipe through there.
6.The sides, inside turret, tracks and road wheels of the wespe seem untouched by the snow fall. Could have just arrived and the warm vehicle melt the snow , but if it is there for some time , and waiting supporting as you stated should have some snow build up. Thats all i hope i helped. I like very much the scene and i would like some info on how you did the snow work which seems so real .

thnkas guys for the kind words and critism.

major, the reason the back is open on the shelter is I wanted to show the meeting going on inside. With it closed up you would be able to tell if or what's going on. The heater I forgot to do awash on it. as for the snow build up I completely missed that on the tracks. :-)
The snow was done the following baking soda and salt. a ltiile bit of future for the ice.
