Hello all
This one would be an other one MiniArt Ruined Factory diorama, but bigger than my previous one (link).
The method I use (for vacuum buildings) is the same as before and the construction has already began.
Please have in mind that it is also a commissioned work and the owner/assignor wants room for 2 KV-1 ...at least.
So this dio base is a little huge, 40x40cm, and is going to be a snowy terrain
My previous 30x30cm similar diorama, just for dimension comparison.
The new, basic layout draft.
Enjoy the construction images.
Be back soon as I have done already more progress.

A few more photos, giving where the ruins will be, as there is need for a lot of free space.

The ruins have added.
Some basic painting has started, so these are the latest images I have.
When any progress, I'll post asap.

And here is the first layer of snow!
Just to inform that my snowing method has 2 or 3 layers - the next one at specific areas and the last one would be the clean upper snow.
Between these layers will do the dirtying with mud and heavy weathering parts.
Enjoy them

My secret formula, regarding the snow & mud production is not so costly.
I use Sodium Bicarbonate, most commonly known as baking soda, homemade washes from Talens Oil colors, the usual suspects are the Raw Umber and Burnt Sienna, but also the Vandyke brown, which is most useful for mud than the Ivory black could be.
Mig Wet effects and Engine fuel & oil help me a lot, and Vallejo Still water do its great job for the remaining wet areas.
Concluding, I also use some gloss and satin varnishes - not showing at the image bellow.
Here are my latest pictures, after heavy weathering has applied.
Enjoy the images, but please accept my apologies as my camera has poor capabilities at snow shooting.
Next will be the last layer of fresh snow, here and there, and my dio would be ready.
