Looking at the figures, they seem to be wearing rubber boots, my google-fu turned up this:
http://www.ima-usa.com/original-u-s-wwii-arctic-rubber-overshoes-with-4-buckle-cloth-top-mickey-mouse-boots.html
Are these what they're supposed to be?
TIA

Very probably. But in actuality, very few soldiers had those during the battle.

That was quick, thanks. I kinda figured that these were rare since it took forever to find a pic. I was trying to figure out colour and how much cleanup is actually needed.

Yes,those are the boots and they were fairly rare in the 101st. The US troops in the bulge suffered more casualties from frostbite and trench foot than they did battle wounds

Thanks, that canvas looks mighty light if it's supposed to be black. Were there other colours or did they just fade that bad?

This IS TRUE!!! And NOT JUST THE 101st, either!!! The shortage of proper winter boots reaching US GIs is largely due to the vast criminal "black market" network within the corrupt US Services and Supply Corps, headed by the infamous Lt. Gen. J.C.H. (Jesus Christ Himself) Lee... Those hogs DELIBERATELY withheld much-needed supplies from suffering US Field and Combat units, just to line their own pockets and take advantage of new, superior equipment for their own personal use... SHAMEFUL AND DISGUSTING!!!
