Hi folks, I've been using Iwata airbrushes for a number of years but have encountered a new problem that has me a bit stumped.
Basically when I depress the trigger, no air flows.
The weird thing is, I took it apart and:
- I can't see anything lodged in the little hole where the trigger pin goes
- the trigger pin seems to fit fine
- if i push down on the air valve with the end of a loose needle, tons of air flows!
So it's almost as if the pin isn't reaching down far enough, but I honestly can't see any obstruction or debris in there. Any clue what could be causing this (or experiences with fixing it)?

This other thread might be useful for you:

I looked at a diagram of the HP-C, and it looks like the air valve is similar to the Badger that I had - check that little O-ring on the plunger in the air valve!
EDIT: I just realised you said that it works fine if you use a needle to depress it. The O-ring could still be the problem, because when it first started on my Badger it was an intermittent problem - sometimes the O-ring moved with the pin, sometimes it stuck and no air flowed.
