Have already got the standard truck which looks to be the best yet from ICM. You can find great photos on google of them serving SS Wiking Division in 41-42 and SS Das Reich at Kursk

Seems to me that one of these made an appearance in a Peter Sellers "Pink Panther" movie, maybe took place in North Africa, and involved a dummy fuel tank that the intrepid Clouseau took a ride in? That would be a good subject.

Talking about the softskins from ICM stable, regertfully last years they all are wrong, the scale apart. In particular their so-called Renault AHN in 1/35 is close to disaster, not only for those undersized wheels with awful vinyl tyres.
However, if you badly want to have a strange mix of AHN and AHS with imaginery cab then go ahead...

Also used by 9thSS at Arnhem, Grabner's grenadiers used AHN's (destroyed at locations 16 and 9) in the bridge assault....(Concord 'German Armored Units at Arnhem page: 12, 13). Late war France during the 'Ruckmarsch' also (featured Then and Now images).

According to IMCDB that was the smaller 2.5t Renault truck, Return of the Pink Panther. You're right about North Africa though.

not only for those undersized wheels with awful vinyl tyres.
At least both Blast Models (2 sets) and Azimut (1 set) have released replacement wheels...

Hi Ilian,
You state that ICM's last model has many failures.
Could you tell us why you have critics? I would avoid building a model which is way of the real one.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Hi Paul!
Thanks, now the things are clear
Before to start, I must warn you I'm into Braille scale and I have no personal experience with those 1/35 kits. However, for good or bad I know Russian and many errors of the recent wheeled thingies of ICM are pointed in the forums and in the M-Hobby magazine too.
Also, I'm mostly interested in trucks and I cannot comment the other subjects of the ICM kits. I'm not much into the cars too but have here just one example. After the launch of the 1/35 kit it was said not once the ICM big Mercedes G4/W31 is with wrong radiator (too wide). Nevertheless ICM repeated the same error in 1/24 later. Now they announced for 2015 the same vehicle in 1/72 (snap kit!). Let's wait to see what the radiator will be. I bet it will be the same!
Frankly, it will be much more easier for me if you'll point some particular kit you're interested in. No problem to translate for you the reviews and comments.
Talking about the subject of this thread, the first (and the last!) time I've seen finished model of 1/35 GS-bodied Renault AHN of ICM was in the February issue of M-Hobby for this year. Sad sight...
Judge for yourself, it is here at the bottom of the page:
http://www.acemodel.com.ua/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4485&start=105
There is also a wrong side drawing. This is a part of the drawings upon which the kit was designed.
Please don't mistake the ICM 1/35 model with my scratchbuilt one in 1/72 (it is with gas masks on the headlights)
HTH
Cheers!
