Friends,
first time attempting Vietnam tiger strip camo. Seen some amazing examples from other modelers here, thanks for the inspiration!
This is first layer of camo scheme. only basic shading on the flak vest, no shading/highlights on pants.
Using Masterbox "Jungle Patrol" set. This is the RTO figure.
Airbrushed base coat of Modelmaster RAF Dark Slate Gray. Looked like a faded OD to me. Acrylic craft paint black and green for the contrasting stripes.
Any constructive feedback on the stripes is appreciated. It's a challenging pattern to say the least in 1/35!!!
Thanks

Hi. The colours look pretty good. Perhaps the pale green could be lighter. The pattern itself feels generally right but the black/ dark green lines could do with smoother edges. Andy Evans has done a brilliant sbs on this. You are definitely on the right tracks though.

Thanks Paul, appreciate the feedback. Will invest in a couple of new brushes and work on smoothing out the lines.
Indeed, Mr Evans has my respect! Amazing work.
Much obliged.
