Just finished, based on a pic I saw on the internet and can't find again, a Merkava turret on a Magach hull. Back story is: After deciding that old Merkava hulls were much more useful as heavy APCs that gun tanks, the IDf was left with a surplus of Merk1 and -2 turrets. Also becoming surplus at the same time was the aging fleet of Magach6 and -7's. Over a fine bottle (or two) of Lebanese cabernet one night, a "solution" was reached on what to do with all the left-over but still functional hardware, and at the same time, create a vehicle at relatively low cost to feed into the urban and LIC combat grinder, saving the expensive and sophisticated Merkava3, 4 and 5's for front-line combat against the T-80's of the Persian Federation.
Hmmm.....
Well, here's the model. Build details can be found on the "CC" board.
It may be goofy looking, but it sure was fun.

Thank you.
I find whif's to be refreshing after a couple of rather extensive research-intensive, heavily corrected projects.
