Oh, to change my previous comment slightly, I wouldn't use anything apart from commercial pigments....

Of course the book is not purely commercial, however, generally speaking, it is not by chance that proposed techniques change depending on what there is on the catalogue... Myabe someone remembers tutorials where acrylic were suggested for whasing...

Ian, I do hope that you enjoy your book or books, whichever one(s) you choose to buy.
