Hey guys here are some pics of my start on this build. I'll be going for one of the new Ukraine T-6BV's that where given to the Ukraine military a few months ago, pic below. . This will be mostly a straight out of the box build with the exception of the barrel.

One thing I have noticed is these 2 extra RA bricks on each side. The Trumpeter kid does not include these so I may have to scratch build these or hope the kit comes with some extra's.

Great start to the build! I love seeing these conversions from tank to a specific country's variant! I'll definitely be following this one!

Nowadays we can see T-64 in combat but sadly they are fighting against its own T-72 cousin

Very true. once that Trumpeter T-72B1 comes out I might have to do one from the Novarussia(rebel) side. Although the one Ukraine captured does have a pretty interesting camo applied to it. (Below)

I'm building the same kit at the moment and it is fabulous in terms of fit and detail. Look forward to seeing your own build progress and any comments as you are a bit further on with your kit.

Did you see the other Trumpy T64 thread about the tracks being about 1/2 link too short?
One solution is that the front idler can be moved back just enough if you cut the mounting points of the front axle assembly and slide the whole assembly back as far as it will go.

If you are mounting the skirts of course, you can hide the mismatch joint behind them.

I discovered it too late for my first build, but have it filed away for the next.
