I was wondering if the Rheinmetell Pak 40 L/61 & Pak 44 L/55 128 mm guns fired the same ammo

According to Wikipedia, they did not use the same ammo. The PaK-44 fired two-part ammunitions :

The German Sturer Emil has the Pak 40 L/61 and the Jagdtiger has the Pak 44 L/51
