Once again another fine guntruck. Love all the guns on it .... must have packed some fire-power! Nice dusty feel to it as well! Will we ever see a crew in one of these gun trucks???
If I were to suggest one thing, it would be to weather the rounds containers a bit more.... A black wash, dry brush and then an even lighter drybrush of some metallic colour brings a bit of life to them and if nothing else shows up the detail on them better.
When I have a pile of these to do, I paint them all the same (as above) .. then give them a few different washes to vary the colouring a little. Some with burnt amber, some with burnt sienna etc. Just my two euro cents!

Good suggestion I will do that. I guess I got a little tired and let it slip. Glad yoy caught it for me. Thsi truck was at one time the most heavily armed truck in Nam.

OMG!.....you built anothe GT already!?!........and a good one too! Well I'll be darned. :-)
Wait a minute, I thought 'Maverick' was the most heavily armed? Maybe not, I've already had a couple of glasses of fine red, so my synapse's are taking a snooze......

At the end of the US commitment of the conflict the Maverick was the most heavily armed to survive. some of the guns from the Cold Sweat were used on the final version of the Maverick.

Glad I got that right (from info you gave me in the first place
) just glad to know I remembered it correctly.
Your 'Cold Sweat' is sweat!...ops, ...err, I mean sweet! Speaking of memory. Didn't your 'Cold Sweat' have the 'Mafia' painted on the side last time I looked!?! Or are you taking the mickey?
Tread.
P.S. animal. Are you aware of the Russian/Soviet GunTrucks?

Howdy guys,
O.K., back at the desk. Yeah animal, I remember reading an article about Soviet Guntrucks in (Afghanistan?) around the same time as when I first heard of the 'Alabama Slammer' variant the Army was working on. I also remember seeing a pic of one.
They weren't the same configuration as your usual GT, but I did see them. Or at least I hope I did.........maybe I'm losing my mind.
I'll look. For the Soviet GT's, not my 'mind'.
