Thanks Sal, pigment dust is fixed using white spirit, I put dry where I want them to have then spread with a brush soaked in white spirit, and how dry I remove the excess with a sponge special makeup. I've seen it with Mig Jimenez. Only the surface can not be matt because you can not remove the pigment after drying.

Hi, I´m going to begin with the Opel Blitz for this campaign.
As I told you before is the 1/35 Italeri kit,

I began with the interior. The pedals are very poor so I decided to scracht them,

Got lucky today -- I swept around my work area and found the hub that went flying last night:



With that taken cared of, I went on with the build. The plastic's on the soft side, and yes some flash, but its not too bad. The fit is ok, tight in some areas that it was quite difficult to remove after dry-fitting, so I just left it without glue.

And it builds quite fast:

Maybe this is a dumb question. Do actual horses count for this campaign? I have Russian team of horses, working (see what I did there?) to pull an artillery piece.

If it doesn't count, no biggie, just thought I'd ask.

I've built kits with rubber band tracks before but the ones Italeri had in this kit tops the horrible list! The runs are too long, brittle, and not even CA can hold them down. Blobs of Gator Glue coupled with a 2 pound dumbbell seemed to have worked wonders -- only to have the tracks break at points along the idler / drive wheels after a couple of days!

I have the Italeri RSO with Pak in the stash so its tracks went into this one. It has held ok in the last several days so I decided to go on with the paintwork. Hopefully it doesn't act up or else my campaign entry is dead in its tracks.

I feel your pain, Tat! I did an ancient Tamiya Bren Carrier not too long ago and dealing with the tracks was a nightmare. As a general rule, I will almost always replace rubber-band tracks with AM tracks, although in this case, finding a replacement set was prohibitively expensive with the kit being so old.

I have tried Dragon Styrene tracks once and was pleasantly surprised. Easy to paint/assemble, but without the headaches of vinyl.

Thanks Mark! Most of the builds I've seen / read for this RSO had AM tracks -- I believe the MK ones are the most used. I had this knowledge beforehand, but as I'm on the cheap side and having previous rubber band builds under my belt, I still carried on and got the shock for this one!

So far I've tried DS once -- a 1/72 Churchill and the experience was very good to me, Tamiya Thin worked on it! Hmmm, now you remind me of a possible candidate for the unfinished business campaign....
