Great looking finish. How did you do the camo, hand painted or masking and airbrush?

Thanks for getting this up Colin.
Kevin, it's brush painted with custom mixes of Vallejo, loosely based on a profile I found on the net. The brown is a bit too red.
This was supposed to be a quick build/painting exercise but it fought me most of the way. Poor fit and engineering and badly molded track links. Not to mention some missing or over simplified details. The links took three good sessions to get cleaned up and put together without being workable as advertised. It's a rather disappointing kit to be honest and I am really glad I picked it up at a hefty discount.

The camo looks awesome, too bad about the links, but I have had that happen one too many times myself.

You're welcome Kimmo, nice work on what sounds like a sub-par kit!

Those turret lights - looks like a bug-eye mosquito! (Duh Fred - aren't all mosquitos bug-eyed?) Kimmo, thank you for the warning about Poor fit and engineering and bad tracks, I'll avoid this model. You did a great job on it!

Thanks Frederick, yeah, the lights. The parts are way too thick and the distortion from dead on is incredible. If someone is building this kit or any variant with the search lights, thin the inside edges of the body down. As it is, the edges extend past the frame of the clear part and create a shadow. The overall effect reminds me of this guy and one of his more memorable one liners which can't be printed here:

"Something's ....."
Season 9 just came out this past Friday.
I've been wanting to build one of the HobbyBoss T-26s, but your warning on the tracks might just scare me away.
It's always nice to see brush painted models too. Serves as a reminder to the newer modelers (myself included) that you don't need an airbrush to get a good result.

Coincidentally I was looking at the countersheet to the new ASL Finnish expansion, Hakkaa Paalle, and noticed the T26. Jumped onto google to see if any kits were available. Looks like a great kit.

Looks can be deceiving. It will build into something that resembles a T-26 but you will need to work at it, this is no shake and bake kit. If you don't mind missing and simplified details (there are some accuracy issues in all of the releases as well) then go for it.
