On the look out for a Sherman kit and come across the Eduard kit for £35.
Is the kit any good?or is there better kits out there.

Depends what variant you want....
If you want a small hatch M4A1 with appliqué armour because you want a British Sherman round Normandy then yeah!!! go for it!!
This Eduard kit is a rebox of the Tasca/Asuka kit, normally going for UK retail £50,and cos Tasca/Asuka Shermans are generally considered to be the best injection moulded kits you can buy these reboxes are a good way of getting Tasca kits at more 'reasonable' prices. For example my LHS had the Tamiya rebox of Tasca's M4A3E8 at £35,again,other UK shops still selling the Tasca original box for £45+.....
Soooooooooo
If you got plans for it,buy it!!

Cheers Steve
I went ahead and ordered it after I found one for the price of £27.99 as the box had a bit of damage, also ordered a metal barrel and some deck stowage.all cost me £40 bargain if you ask me.
Looking forward to building something other than German armour

Good Work Fella!
Now all you need is a copy of Son of Sherman and you'll be on your way to becoming a fully fledged Shermaholic!we'll lead you away from the 'Dark Side' ( unless you're planning to wreck that poor M4A1 and show a pesky Panther motoring on by!)
I would buy more of these reboxed and Tasca originals but for some reason SWMBO thinks that the pile is already big enough......
Have fun Karl!

oooooooo I'm nowhere near being an expert, probably just chip in now and then with an enthusiastic 'good going there' every now and then.Roy Chow and Kurt Laughlin are a couple of the people whose wise words i would certainly pay attention to when it comes to American armor. But there are a whole bunch out there who have plenty of knowledge to share.....
And you'll certainly be doing better than me,ACTUALLY building something!
