Hans it is a very well done and executed diorama of a period of time that makes people uncomfortable. As such some may be concerned about saying the wrong thing.

We shouldn't sanitize evil - all history has to be remembered, not just the parts we like.
You did a great job on this diorama.

You've done a really good job of creating a piece that captures such a difficult scene to depict. It really does belong in a museum.

We all model tanks and dioramas of things we think are 'cool' but it's important to have works like this to remind us of the pain and suffering caused by the things we all love to model.

First-class models in a fine diorama depicting a somber scene of too many such scenes, played out over the ages, even unto today.

The smut of the loco and the wear of the freight cars compliments the gloom of those innocents being driven to a despicable doom; it contrasts with the loathsome Nazis, primped and shined uniforms shedding no light into the darkness.

Well done, Hans, well done. A sad period of history and displayed powerfully in your diorama. Nice weathering and tone-down colors is done well. I guess that conflict still hits some nerves. Sad but accurate from what I have seen and read over the decades.
My Dad was one of the first GIs into Dachau May 1945 - all he would say is 'How can people do that to other people'.

I love the figure of the father with the red sack leading his family under the scrutinizing eye of the army "surgeon". The father is determined not to be distracted by fear, but to help his lovely, and proud family survive. This is a very well planned and thought provoking diorama. Great craftsmanship.

Thanks Guys and if a museum ever contacts me I will surely give it a thought. You're comments are right. All to often I see doirama's with soldiers and tanks that look like "a day in the park". War (all wars) are just blood and guts and the horrors humans do to eachother. It's a pity that my dio can easely be replaced by a IS-scene of a Boco-Haram scene. The time is different, the horrors are the same and we all stand by and look...........

It is a stunning diorama. I agree may we never forget and I wish men would never repeat such EVIL deeds. Great job.

Very well done with a very powerful message, a necessary reminder of the evil man is capable of toward his fellow human beings. I love the work and craftsmanship that went into creating this, but at the same time am disturbed that these events actually took place in a civilized world by civilized people.

Exellent piece of work showing a very dark piece of world history.Hans you should seriously consider donating this diorama to a meusem where it can be preserved for future generations so that they can be remained about what happenend .

As said, maybe in due time and if the right museum is contacting me I will do that. Giving it to a museum mostly leads to the piece being stored in a box somewhere in the archives and I've just finished this costly piece but, as said, feel free to make comments to a proper museum.
