Can anyone please answer this question?
Are the Trumpeter tracks for Leopard 2 A5/A6 compatible for the Hobbyboss Leopard 2 A5/A6 kit ?
Has anyone used these on any Hobby Boss or Tamiya Leo 2 kit?
Please help!!! We would like to know.
Best regards

I have the tracks and both the Tamiya and Hobbyboss Leopards. I will assemble a length and check them on the drive sprockets tonight hopefully and post a few pictures.

Michael, right away I noticed that the Tamiya sprocket is wider than the HB sprocket. Tamiya is green and HB is grey.
The sprocket teeth are close to identical though. With a one millimeter spacer on the HobbyBoss sprocket they will work.
Fitted to the Tamiya sprocket
Fitted to the HobbyBoss sprocket
The tracks are fiddly to put together and very hard to clean. They have held up well to handling so far but are very stiff and the end connectors do not want to lay naturally. The width of the track across the pads is 15.0mm and across the end connectors 18.3mm. Once in place they will need to be hit with some glue since everything is a pressure fit. The set includes 22 identical sprues.
It took me approximately one hour to assemble this length.
