WOW, awesome. Another rehash of an old Dragon model at double the price.........................NOT. What a waste of plastic, so many new kits waiting to be done and what do they bring out again? Another old German tank model with some extra pieces and sprues at double the price.

Another example of positive and constructive comment. And from a vendor. Very impressive.

I concur about Dragon tossing an old kit format into the air, adding a few extra sprues and jacking the price. Not a good business practice. Time for something new and not German figures point to the nearest beer garden.

I guess they figure if some small percentage of the market, like 5%, can't get enough Panther variants (I'll call this a Panther-Puma), they'll sell enough kits to make a profit, regardless of how many other people curse them for it. For me, there are just so many other more interesting kits, especially with the quality other manufacturers are delivering.

Well said, and yes they will make profit. So for all those who say bad business practice, well it is working for Dragon. Yes they continue to use the same molds over and over again, but there is a market for the different variants(proof is the number of cottage industries that rose to provide conversions for all the different variants) so why not just over the different variants using the same molds? Basically means if you wait long enough, the variant you always wanted will be available.

For me, this could be a "buy it" save that I'm just turned off by those DS tracks and am equally tired of the new higher price along with needing AM tracks. I'll wait until the first and second "new kit" blush has faded and this appears at a much lower price. So; interesting subject, high price and DS tracks. I'll wait.

Considering that they have stocks of the sprues ready to go, the box art and packaging costs more than the contents. That's the cost they have to recoup.

If Dragon really wants to make money hand-over-fist with a Panther, bring out the Ausf. A with zimmerit already!

Oh, my... They've taken a Panther D and substituted a 5cm Kwk.39/1 for one of the 7.5 cm guns... I'm under-whelmed... AGAIN!!!

I won't even bother- Since I'm a US/Allied FANATIC, I'll just stick to a basic Ausf.D, Ausf.A, Ausf.G, "Panther F", and a "Panther II", Thank You Very Much... ' Course, that's just me... But when we're talking M4 Mediums and derivatives, well, that's ANOTHER STORY...

You know this is so wacky looking that when it gets discounted (and it will like all those Beobachtung III's out there) I just might get one.
