Changing up the scene a little bit and creating a vignette of a sniper set during the German offensive through the Ardennes. The sniper has taken up a perch on the second floor of a blown out farmhouse. Taking a break from the build as I await a delivery of Verlinden bricks to continue construction of the exterior... here are some progress shots for now:

Really good start! The blasted bits of wood on both floors look convincing..

Thank you all for your words and following of this build. Brief update for today: started laying some homemade ceramic bricks to the first floor exterior...

I tried to get a clearer photo but for some reason could not get the camera to focus closer to the chair... there is a canteen and spare mag, also a couple of spent casings on the ground.
