Can anyone inform me just which variant of all the variants released by Trumpeter is the latest operational variant in the Italian army or whether or not all variants can be seen in use currently.

I'm sure the current version is the long one. The so-called ROMOR version is not standard. I guess this armor package is only fitted when deployed.
