Hi,

I am looking for Tiran-6 photos and I am wondering if there are any archive pictures out there other than the Latrun walkarounds?

Thanks a mill!

Now that's interesting!

Are they used for training, as opposing forces armour?

Cheers,

Christophe

I've read they were bought in the 80's by the South Koreans who wanted to know more about the T-62 (the North Korean Chonma-ho tank that appeared in 1980 is based on the T-62...), along with some T-72M1's as well :

Thank you, that is interesting piece of news I read somewhere that some made their way to South-American countries...although no photo/details found.

I never found references about Israel sales of the Tiran 6 to any South American country...
But I may be corrected -it always happens-

Do you have Verlinden book? Unfortunately it only shows Latrun photos.

I gather it happened and Tiran 5's are documented (Uruguay) so it would seam feasible. However without some pictures its difficult.

No I don't, I have ammo's book on the Tiran in Lebanese service but these are only Tiran 5's. Great book though.
