Hi!
I am not exactly a regular over here, I'm usually into 1/72- and 1/144-scale aircraft at Aeroscale but I still hold a fascination for armour, especially armour on wheels!
I have been following this very informative build blog, and also this very nice build.
So far, after some modelling on and off during the Easter, I've arrived at this stage:
I am aware that it has its shortcomings but I intend to fix what's within my abilities (not the wheels ). I do need some help though:
1) Can anyone suggest a good colour match for the "black and green" paint scheme? I've been looking here for inspiration and could very well do one of these! I am a Tamiya and Gunze guy by heart!
2) Is there an after-market item available for the missing turret MG? Or some convenient mainstream kit where I could pilfer one?
3) Does anyone have a suggestion for a source for a crew? I suck at figure painting but I am prepared to give it a try at least !
4) Saladin decals? Available anywhere?
5) Pioneer tools. Even Magnus the Aircraft-guy realises that the kit items aren't the most refined on the planet. Can I find better ones somewhere?

Tamiya German Field Grey is a very good match for the green in the green and black cammo.

For crew you could try D J Parkins. They have British squadie's figures from the 50's and 60's which go well with this vehicle
