How do i post pictures to my threads?

I've blicked the upload photos under the yellow (REady to Post your Topic) rectangle. I've uploaded the pics to the Kitmaker site that it redirects me to. But It wont post the pics to the actual thread, if I click Upload photos it says
"The category you chose for this photo can't contain photos."
I'm trying to posts progress pictures of my paintings and builds but...I'm having a hard time. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Are your photos actually uploading to the gallery? It sounds like you need to make them smaller. Alternatively, you can use a site such as photobucket. It has limited space(1000 images or so). But, it has "share" links that automatically copy, when selected.

it is pretty difficult to post photos ! especially if your not a computer guy .
