Hi all.

Just asking in general if anyone can help. I have a Accurate Armour CHARRV conversion which i've owned for about 10 years hive or take a couple. I would like to paint it as the Red top safety groups CHARRV Which i saw back in 2003. I did take photos however these have been lost when i returned from canada due to a faulty memory card. Im asking if anyone here has ever seen it or may have photos of it or seen it in referance publications? I have a REME friend out in Batus currently but he says its now just painted green.

The version i rememeber was that the call sign was 72D (Now currently 72H). It was painted typical Batus sand and green, however the storage lockers where red all around. Cant remember the ZAP number or location of it.

If anyone can help i would much appreatate it.

Many thanks Neil

It's the first picture that pops up when you search for "CRARRV batus" with Google Images

These days the vehicles are mainly sand coloured - a few are plain green and the Red Tops are a various mixture of different components and areas painted red. Ian Barraclough, REME ASM.
