Think this photo was taken in Tunisia as there is a few wrecked tanks there.also not far away is a wrecked tiger that was blown upside down probably due to air strikes.

The Tiger was probably the one blown up with demolition charges; there are other photos in the series.

Exceeding few overturned tanks were "flipped by a nearby bomb explosion" as captions claim. If you look closely many do not have the severe blast damage an explosion of sufficient force would cause. Nor are the necessarily large craters to be found nearby.

The reasons behind toppled wrecks are generally 1) tanks slid or was driven off the road and overturned; 2) tanks KO'd or abandoned as roadblocks and pushed into the side ditch where they toppled over; and 3) tanks KO'd or abandoned as roadblocks and pulled off the road by cables, either into the side ditch where they toppled over or by cables laid over the tank and pulled from the opposite side.
