Not much info there, but does it make sense not to look at those 6286 kits being offered on E-bay at a hmmm....inadequate prices? I mean, we have Wittmann's new Tiger with lots of newly tooled parts specific or reworked/upgraded for this particular release. Can we hope for something like this?

From what I understand this is a model of the Tiger that is at the Bovington Tank Museum, which was captured in Tunisia, so it will be an early desertised version I presume.

Desired option would be the Witthman Tiger /6730/ with some new parts.
Dragon might have used CH 9142 Early Tiger as a source, which is not in the same league.

This kit is essentially 6730 without the figures, with the earlier Feifels, with some improved internal turret detail, and the appropriate features for "131".
It looks like there could be one or two alternate decal schemes; we're working on that.
The wheels and other parts used in #9142 won't be used again, as far as I know.
I'm not sure what you mean by "desertised". The Feifel filters were the "desertising" part of the Tiger and they were issued with all Tigers of the period.

Same price as the 6730 Wittmann Tiger. I am affraid this is Dragon`s new pricing policy.

David, is there any chance that Dragon would release the DAK Tiger of s.Pz.Abt.501(yes, the $300 one on ebay) as their newly tooled Tiger kit? I heard the rumor they would never release that subject again whatsoever.

I don't have a deep insight into Dragon's policies, but if I understand them; they won't release that exact same kit again, nor even a modified version with the same name and number, as they sometimes do.
But there IS a possibility of a new kit which builds into the same Tigers.

Thanks David! You made my day, cause that's exactly what I wanted to know. The LAH kit is cheap, but it is too simplified (lower hull, road wheels etc.). Having a DAK Tiger I kit that utilizes advantages of recent research and engineering, although at higher price, is acceptable for me!!!

Why couldn't they have done a Pz.Kpfw.III Ausf.A, instead, the one with FIVE large-ish road wheels..? Never mind, forget I said anything...
