This is my Trumpeter BTR-70 with interior and scratchbuilt engine & compartment. Has Voyager etched brass fitted and ET(?) resin wheels fitted to the original hubs. Lots of work done on the air intake and engine hatch interiors to get them looking right. There's some hatches and the spare wheel missing in these pics. Has also been fitted with LEDs to show off the interior (I tried to take pics of this in the dark but they didn't come out too well...). How do you intend to hide the cables?

They come out of the bottom. It will be in a small diorama so the battery will be in the base.

Ian that is some truly awesome work. Everywhere you look there is some piece of great detail- I particularly like the detail on the inside of the hatches. The LEDs should be a fantastic addition to show off the interior- where did you locate them on the inside?

They're 2X 3 LED strips that are stuck to the roof of the vehicle. They can be seen in the interior pics linked above.

That really does look awesome and I very much like the extra work you put in this one. Keep pictures of your painting process coming, I'm very interested to see that baby grow up fully
