Hi everyone. So this is my panther g what has dragon hull, italeri fast build turret, rb barrel and eduard pe.
I first had plan to make it my so far best model and so i got dragons 7488, eduards pe set for revells panther g, rb barrel and some cheap but ok turret to dress up.
I ended up scratching gun travel lock and drivers periscope cover and im happy with it as my scratching skills are quite bad. Enough babbling time for pics.




I will appreciate any comments, criticism or advice.

Pretty nice job, Karl. The 2-tone camo is interesting. My only question is about the OVM tools. They kind of stand out more than they should.

I agree with that metal parts are too bright although i like wooden parts as they are.

I like your work over all and you chose nice colours for your camo scheme.

To me it seems like you're colour coates are too thick. Even when brushpainting, try applying thin lyers one at a time, then touch up where the plastic/ below colour shines through with another thin layer.

Thick colour coates make details vanish and give blobby surfaces like on the side skirts/ turret rear/ stowage bins...

Also, the spare tracks seem too rusty for my personal taste. Tracks where made of a special alloy with reduced tendency to rust compared to "average steel".

Actually the skirts are bent and the paint layer is not thick as i did it with airbrush it just might seem on skirts as light plays on em making paint look thicker.
Ill try to fix spare tracks too as im new to rusty stuff.

And following my original plan to convert it into command tank
I think it will be doable as i made crows foot antenna just and redoing spare tracks is next thing on lost for now.

So i repainted the spare tracks and added tow cable.

How is it now?

Ok little update, again. Did some work on spare tracks as i was't happy with them and pierced schűrzen few times.

Could this be moved to braille section of the forum? I kinda forgot to do it.

Excellent... I recognise the base from the Matchbox / Revell Jagdpanther kit. Spare wheel on the turret is a good touch, as is the foliage. How did you do the star antenna in the end, seems like you changed it to something thinner than in the earlier photos?

The antennas were indeed replaced. Star antenna is third iteration of it though, second one was destroyed during transport.
The star itself comes from PE set, which was bought for another panther im working on.

Attractive and interestingly thought out vignette. Glad to see the rather bold look of some of the tools was toned down to a more suitable look. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing this with us.

Glad you like it, the idea came rather abruptly. Not enitrely happy with figures but atleast the camo looks rather nice on them.
