Hi folks,
George Moore asked me to post up some pic of a base he is working on for the 9.2inch Howitzer.

Finally found a use for "used" ground coffee.....mixed with fine ballast (railway) and white glue.....the coffee will stain anything (white) it's mixed with.
I have not done a diorama for over 20 years....needed to see if all the things I have seen and read on various websites worked out.
Thanks for the comments.
George.

Hi George,
Nice work, I like the layout and the poses of the figures. The used coffee seems to have worked really well. Haven't tried that, more a Tea person.
The lighter of the shell holes might look better darker, but that may just be the photo. The duck boards look good, I have some on order but haven't seen them yet.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Hi
Al, duckboards I made a while back, looking for loads for the GS wagon.....the wood was not painted (I guess), just got muddy and dirty.....the corrugated sheets, would they have been painted green or khaki brown ???? I did them a weathered green with the "silver-metallic" wear.
Lot of things need improving....but I am learning....better concentrate on masters.
