Hobby Boss has announced a Skoda-PA-II ‘Turtle’ hot on the heels of Takom news of the same vehicle. This has to be a case of waiting for years for a Turtle and then two come along at once.

That has got to be one of the strangest looking vehicles that I've ever seen. Looks kinda Steam Punkish, all it needs is a smokestack. Hmmmmmm. Al

Always wanted to build one after seeing a photo of one in an old book on armored cars but could never bring myself to spring for the high priced resin offering. Al, I was thinking something similar too doing a what if steam punk thing too..lol of course I would build a historical version as well.

I agree with the Steampunk comment. Smokestack, multiple pipes, lots of brass thingamajigs...
I can also imagine it painted black, with a certain type of fin sticking up on the back. Maybe add a stylized "face mask" to the front...

This vehicle has a dual-drive direction, so it hadn't front or rear like the PANZERWAGEN ADGZ

The back would be whichever end that you decided to put the fin on.
(I was thinking Batmobile, for those unfamiliar.)
