Vallejo German Camo Black Brown is often recommended for down to metal chips; if that's the kind of chip you mean. Scratches on the paintwork that are not down tothe metal, or for the edges of the chips, then the NATO black sounds like it makes sense (in fact I might try that out...)

Shouldn't it be oxide red? NATO black seems like it would be for light chipping imo.

Red primer surrounded by a thin ring of a light grey works well...

So, it could be: dark camo brown right in the centre where it had got down to the bare metal, red primer around the edge of that, NATO black along the top of that where the chip edge is in shadow, light grey on bottom edge where it is in light... Now practice that keeping to about 1mm high by 2mm across...! Not really, but combinations of those might also provide some random looking variety.

Lots of ideas, just got to try it and see what looks best...

Thank you for you guys's advises! One question though, does early Panzer Grey (1938-1941) also use Oxide Red Premier?
