Hi Chavdar,
A great start I am wanting to make one of these myself from the Trumpy kit, but haven't been able to find any photos of the winch, I see you have made one, do you have any photos of this that you would be willing to share ?
I will follow this build with much interest!!
Cheers Mike

I'm along for this ride too. I always dig those Recovery/Engineering vehicles converted from a tank
i watched a scale plastic figure crawl along the edge . . . of an exacto blade . . . that's my dream , it's my nightmare . . . . . . . crawling , slithering . . . . . along the edge . . . . . . of an exacto . . . . . blade . . . . and surviving

Nice build so far. What always amazes me is the way some of you assemble and paint the running gear apart from the model.
Your scratch work is great too

Thanks Olivier, for me personly, it is more easier to paint and detailed gears and tracks apart from the main model-body

Hi Ronnie
I just do not have any photos to show you how I build up the tracks, I will try to explain to you, and hope to understand my english
1 - made the upper and lower long parts of tracks/because they are separate track by track/. Made it for left and right side

2 - mount all wheels of both sides without glueing them

3 - glued the long parts tracks for wheels /up and low/
4 - glued the separate tracks for the front and the rear side and make the curves around the leading wheels and drive wheels.
5 - after one hour, carefully unmount two units /tracks and gears/ from the main body.
Mainly that is all story
Cheers

If the wheels are mounted with those horrible poly-caps (very common in Tamiya kits)
then it will be difficult to remove the wheels !
If the wheels are supposed to be glued
in place then this method works great :-)

Hey Chavdar,
Would you mind linking in some of those reference photos you mentioned? If it's not too much work, that is!
Thanks a lot!
