76mm M1A1 Barrel length

I want to upgrade the barrel on my Tamiya M4 Jumbo. The original 75mm looks too short, so if I roll my own 76mm M1A1 barrel how long should it be from the mantlet collar? The M1A1 is 52cal. long which is almost 4 1/2inches long at 1/35 scale if I did my math right.
