Spent hours today looking for some crew figures that look like the crew on this box art:

I have ordered the kit but no luck finding anything like them.

I doubt you'll find anything that specific; more likely you'll have to do some cutting, swapping and putting to make something close.

If he doesn't move, that feller in the driver's seat is gonna be mighty unhappy when they fire that gun, though. His hearing may come back tomorrow.

Hi Karl, If you’re into a little creative modification and/or some putty sculpting, this set may work out for you …
MB “Off to the Front” German Infantry Riders (6 figures)

I’ve used this kit in the past and it's not too bad — lots of body parts and gear for mixing it up! With the addition of 'Hornet Heads,' it'll be even better.

Dragon's "Winter Tank Riders" DRA 6513, might be a useful starting point, although they may still need some surgery to fit. The para's in quilted winter uniforms for the 50 mm PAK 38 kit (number unknown) might also be useful as they are all in kneeling positions servicing the gun - the same gun as on your vehicle, so they may work well.

I ordered this kit from Dragon,I know it has Fallschirmjager crew but I shall make some changers and add Hornet heads with original M42 helmets.

Just change the vehicle from a WH designation to WL - for the Luftwaffe.

Vehicles with this configuration of armor and gun were all issued to Waffen SS Units on the eastern front.

Other units of the HEER and LUFTWAFFE did operate this vehicle
but not with that gun configuration.

So keep this in mind when selecting or converting
your figures.

Cheers,
Joe

Guess you'll have to put SS plates! But then, I think the quilted pattern snow suits were only issued to Luftwaffe units. What a quandary!!

Is it possible to build the vehicle and omit the armor plates and make a Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe vehicle? There is a larger assortment of possible crew figures that are not SS. Such as this one:

The kit does not supply the windscreen to make a regular Sd.kfz 10.

Hmmm...I could always fake a framework and cover it with canvass, or something. Does Dragon at all make the unarmored version? I couldn't find one. I know Italeri made it, but I'd rather keep away from that one!

Dragon make a Sdkfz 10 with 37mm Pak 36,the others have 2cm flak 30 or 38.

Or Sd.kfz 10 ausf B no gun version.
