Last weekend My Flak 38 for my cover up dio was hit and destroyed by a Russian artillery round! #:-) !!
But seriously, while cleaning out my basement, something apparently fell on the gun. Not sure if one of the cats, My Lady or myself have caused it. But it is not salvagable. Missing parts, broken parts and time being the issue.
I have a completed base , for the most part. I do have Tamiya's Mortar and crew. Maybe i can whip it up and still complete my dio before the 2nd of Feb!

I hate it when stuff like that happens. Once I was building a King Tiger and had my reference book on the desk. When I picked up the book it slipped out of my hands and fell flat smack on the King Tiger. For those familiar with the book Encyclopedia of German Tanks in WWII will know it is not a small book. Broke the main gun, commander's hatch, antennae, MG rail, snapped off a bunch of wheels and one of the muffler tubes.
