Are the Centurion bogies significantly different from those on the Chieftain? Can the AFV Club bogies be modified into Chieftain models? Are they even remotely a good match?
I am collecting all the goodies to update the old Tamiya dog (since those buttholes at Meng won't give us a new kit! LOL) but I don't want to drop money on the AFV bogies if they aren't even a close match or can't be modified for the Chieftain.
Thanks,
Dave

Both Horstman, but very different in appearance.

Wasn't the Prototype Chiefy built on a modified Cent chassis with modded suspension, or was that just the turret?

The FV4202 used a cut about Centurion Mk7 and a new turret. Only 3 were built and one remains at Bovington in the reserve collection. Photos are in Simon Dunstan's book on Centurion. I converted one not so long ago.
