Working on the clear parts.
Tamiya gives you a sheet of clear plastic , no clear molded parts.
For the price they charge for this kit you should get at least clear Head light lenses, No they are colored plastic too.
Here I used DEF Models lense sheet stickers on the sheet parts after being cut to size.

They can be installed after the painting is finished , so no masking is needed.

Have the Hull halves togerher.

It was a tight fit with the track being slightly wider than the kit track.

Added the tow cable ends after joining the halves together.

The periscope stickers look realy nice.

That's all for now.

Some comments:
This kit is nicely detailed, but you really need the DEF Models Gun Barrel & Photo Etch set to make it look good.
If I was doing it again I would leave the OROCHI Track Set, it was a lot more work. I don't think it was worth wile using it. The kit track is fine for what you can see of it.

Very nicely done Donald. I've also considered building this unique kit, and this thread helped me decide to actually go ahead and order one. Thanks!

A few were giving him a hard time for the slow picture load...

He's trying to appease them by posting the albums....

all I get is a login screen...

I think he needs to update the album to "PUBLIC" or "SHARED"

They are all posted with Copy Link Address.
They are all marked SHARED.
I don't know what else to do.

I am NOT TRYING TO APPEASE ANYONE.
I do this to try to help less experienced modelers
I have about 60 Years of building under the belt.
If any of you like my builds (FINE)
