hi guys
this is my first completed model after 15 years missing in action. i just completed this 1/72 Modelcollect T-72 OOB.
My lousy handphone camera somehow shows greenish but infact it is Desert Sand color. i used Ammo Mig paints for this model.
hope it looks ok... cheers!

John, and on my lousy phone it looks kind of grey.... But it does look OK. Hope this is the first of many more to come then.

John,
Welcome back to the hobby and for also choosing the one true scale! The images look pretty much monochrome on my monitors. It appears to have been a nice clean build and is nice to see a Modelcollect kit having been built (wish we could get them here). How was the build? Thanks for sharing and hope to see of your work in the not so long future/
Cheers,
Jan

hello guys
thanks for compliments, the modelcollect kit strangely has a die cast metal hull...lol. there are many small little parts for this kit over 100. some are really very small even using tweezers i have problem gluing them. the fit is perfect no putty needed. i use ca glue. i can say this is a very detail kit. but i might prefer revell T-72M1 which i think is easier to build as i am lazy guy...lol. i used ammo mig yom kippur war collors paint set. which i think is better than tamiya or mr color. the ammo mig paints are matt and easy to apply.
thanks and cheers!

Nice build, that brought back some memories. The Revell M-72 was my first tank in 1/72 scale, since my youth. It caused a "small scale AFV addiction" and its still fun.
Modelcollect is a bit hard to get here.Happy modelling and i am looking forward to your next build

I love the kit. I'm thinking about getting the T-64 because I don't see a lot of good T-64 kits around. This may be an off-the-wall question, but where did you get the case? I'm having a hard time finding ones just the right size for a lot of my 1/72 kits.

That's a superb paint job, beautiful weathering. Never guess you've been away so long. ModelCollect kits are now quite easy to obtain now through Ebay. I've got a couple in my stash now
