Is the trumpeter kit 01594 accurate for one used in afghan conflict by USSR forces? What colour scheme could it be?

It should be OK from the various pics I saw. Concerning the camo scheme, most of them sported a sand-grey and green camo.
Some also had black patches.

Those look like images from Steven Zagola'a book, I think it was called Russian armour in Afghanistan. Most of the pictures in it are black and white but there are some colour images
