Well having to do diorama for schoolwork is pretty good idea, i think. I got myself together and finished this one for now.. I do have plans for another one though.
Snow was done with soda sprinkled onto 1:1 mix of water and white glue.

Hope you like it. And dont forget to criticise.

A great first diorama! But may I suggest, a larger base, so none of your tanks hang over the edge, or fewer vehicles on the base you're using.

The trees are some kinda plant that dries itself for the end on summer having you to just pick it up.
I did hav plans to have only one vehicle but it felt so empty that i had to add more vehicles. Should have used better base too.

Karl

Good first attempt !!!!! Folks are always learning so keep on in there and keep trying !!!!!

There are so many fantastic little and massive dios on the web to give you plenty ideas as to how others do their's so look them over and follow their ideas and how they tackled them !!!!

Dios are one of the areas that can be done using very cheap and very often free materials to brighten up what can be the far more expensive kits !!!!

Even try simply copying one in rough shape and form, but put your own men, vehicles and touches into the mix !!!! But the main thing is simply enjoy the fun of trying your own thing and see what works for you and what makes you happy !!!!

Congrats on your first work! Persanally, I think snow and water are the hardest surfaces to make realistic.. Well wet dirt is the third one:)

In your case, I would put twice less snow on your vehicles, especially on t-34, you can hardly tell it is this one:) anyway, first is out of the way, good luck on making another one!
