Just a quick question, does anyone by chance make an aftermarket barrel to convert the M48 to the M67 flame tank? Thanks, Wayne

Wayne,
I've asked the same question and searched high and low for one.
There was a conversion kit made but I have been told it's hard to find now. See the following from Patton Mania:
http://www.patton-mania.com/M48_Patton/M48_modeling/Jakko_s_M48_Stuff/M67A2_by_Jakko/m67a2_by_jakko.html

The conversion appears pretty simple with a new scratch built gun tube and a simplified gunner's sight. Several folks have told me a new gun tube is easy to scratch.

Let me know if you find anything.

Dave

I have scratch built a M67 gun tube all you really need is some evergreen plastic tube the same diameter as the bore evacuator modify the muzzle brake and add a access hatch to the top of the guntube

Nick, you wouldn't by chance have the measurements, length, handy?

Man, this would be an easy change for Dragon to make and maximize those M48A3 molds for a third release...

Shy of that, sounds like a new M67 conversion would be welcomed from the aftermarket community. I'd be in for one...

Good luck, Wayne!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.

I would love to see Def Model do the M67A2 as a conversion.

Sorry, Larry, you said to pm you, but you haven't read them, so I'm assuming you weren't serious. Didn't mean to bother you . Sorry, Wayne
