I presume it is very difficult to see where you are going when buttoned up.

It's just another panzer
More seriously, I find odd the way the spare wheel is stowed.

Could the hatches on thee front be installed backwards? I thought they opened to the front.

Dear friends,
If you mean the front plate, it is strange, but it is not wrong.
At Aberdeen Camp there is a DAK Pz.IV with additional front armour plate, giving protection to the bow MG and to the pilot. When closed, the pilot hatch disappears completely.
Cheers

Are you talking about the driver view port? To me it does not look like that plate is hinged or movable as it looks like it is bolted on.

correction, I looked it up and it slides open from the center. So now I am with Giovanni, I don't see the issue.

The armor plate over the driver's port is bolted on just as securely as the extra plate over the MG port. How is the driver supposed to see through it?

Hi guys. I was referring to the two hatches on the glacis to access the transmission. I thought they opened to the front. I haven't built any german armor in quite a while so I've learned something.
Thanks

This got me looking into the Tamiya Ausf D in the stash -- and indeed it has those plates that can be built open or closed! Learning something new everyday...

After looking at Giovanni's photo of the Aberdeen IV, it's obvious, and you all missed it. Tamiya forgot to provide the tuft of grass that goes between the 3rd and 4th bogie!
I'll bet Dragon includes that with their next Black Label kit.
