Does anyone know of a good reference book or website for M5A1 Stuarts? I have the verlinden exterior set for it It contains a storage box that's on the rear hull I've never seen any pics that has a stuart with that box on it
The Hunnicut book is probably OOP or to expensive for me The only book I have is the Osprey Vanguard

Squadron Signal's Stuart in Action.
British and American Tanks of World War Two, Chamberlain & Ellis.
United States Tanks of World War II, George Forty.
Last two are extremely valuable. The Brit & American book is available at militarybookclub.com for $20 or free if you join the club and get it with the initial order.
The George Forty book has a $20 price on it, but is probably twice that now.

I went to the Marine Air & Ground Museum at Quantico on Friday and took some pictures of the M5A1 they have down there (as well as the other armored vehicles) that I will be posting as soon as I get around to getting the shots off of my digital camera so keep your eye out for those.

Don't forget Hunnicutt's Stuart: A History of the American Light Tank. Still in print, but like all of his titles very expensive. Still probably the best single reference out there. I have his books on the Sherman and Pershing, and I'm glad I got them.
