How do you clean the little tube where the needle goes into the airbrush? I use a Paasche VL, but back-flushing the thing doesn't seem to take all the gunk out of the tube, and it's waay too narrow to fit any kind of cleaning device in!

Hi Sergeant blank
I would recommend soaking these parts in some lacquer or paint thinner to soften any dried paint. Then you should try using a soft brush, a tooth brush works well, to remove the paint. Don't soak plastic or teflon only metal parts. To get inside this part try some pipe cleaners, the wire is very thin and should fit.
One more thing. I know they make specialty AB cleaning brush sets. Invest in one. I think MicroMark sell them.
I hope this helped.

When I bought my airbrush, I received a sample of airbrush cleaner. I use it between colors, and when I forget and it gets clogged, I soak it in overnight. So far it works well, but best part, there are no toxic fumes, and its environmentally friendly. So far I used it mainly with acrylic, did someone else used it with oil or enamel?
