New from Black Dog, we have four new modern US figures in resin. A crew for your M1 and a pair of snipers.

Is is just me, or does it look like Black Dog figures are getting skinnier. While I like the poses, I am not sure I like how they look proportionally. Limbs look skinny and the details look soft. I have seen some great work from Black Dog in the past, but this seems to miss the mark.

My question is why do sculptors portray soldiers pointing with a single index finger, we're taught to indicate with a flat hand. There have been a number a great releases from Black Dog but I feel the snipers are a little off.

Some of Black Dog offerings are really nice, but some leave me completely ho-hum. Their last couple of figure sets are not up to Black Dog standards IMO.

Great comments to all. Thanks for pointing things out that many may have over looked.
