RPMs decal sheet doesn't include registration plates, and the only spares I had are 1:48 as that is my preferred scale. So I bodged together a plate for a vehicle of the Reichsarbeitsdienst. ( I would assume they were the kind of organisation which would operate this kind of vehicle.)
The RAD was involved in the fighting in the Ardennes after D-day so I thought it would be a break from the ordinary grey/yellow of the Wehrmacht-sections of my cabinet to give it at aerial identification flag on the roof.
The kit is a bit so-and-so. Plenty of filing, sanding and puttywork, but the end result isn't too bad, at least not a few feet away!
