I am doing a trial dio with cork cobblestones, etc, and want to show a small well/fountain where people could get some water. It should be real simple, such as would be found in a small town in France as WWII started. But I can't find any pics on Google. Instead, I get pics of troops, etc.
Anybody have any pics in their files they could share?
Thanks to all for taking your time to look at this request.

I'm certain that Frenchy will be able to help you out here. In the meantime, I did a search on 'french water well pics' and also 'french fountain' ... some possibilities, maybe?

Just tell me if you need more . Here are some examples of village wells :
I guess that they may differ from one region to another...

Do search with the words "puit" or "puits" (plural), french for "well". Try "puit de l'eau" as well.

Great link Alex.
Thanks to everybody. I will go with a small, simple, old fountain, but I am putting a lot of pics away for the future too.
You all stay cool or warm, as might be your need, and stay healthy.
