It is with great sadness that I have to report that Gary Williams, known to all as 'El Presidente', collapsed and passed away yesterday (01/06/2015).
Gary, MAFVA member 004, took on the role of membership secretary and president of MAFVA way back in the early days, and became, with his wife Heather, the de facto administration of MAFVA.
His unstinting efforts have kept the association going for most of the 50 years of MAFVA's existance, and it is only over the past few years that ill-health has forced him to hand over the numerous tasks to (relatively) younger men.
Our sympathy goes to Heather and his family, as well as his vast number of friends and contacts around the world.

Rest in peace.
