Aloha everyone!!!

Does anyone know if the Legend Productions IDF conversion set for the Academy 1/35th scale HMMV could it be used on the Tamiya kit?

I was told when planning to kitbash the Academy M998 Ambulance with a Tamiya HMMWV that it wasn't easy to do because the basic dimensions of the two kits were quite different.

I assume the same problems would arise trying to mate your Legend conversion to the Yamiya kit.

It's not a big problem though, just find a Academy kit, they can be found at very low prices.

hello
I have too the Legend conversion , the Academy and the Tamiya Humvee!
It seems difficult to use the conversion on Tamiya kit.
The Tamiya kit like the Bronco one is accurate and match the drawing when Academy and Italeri are off.

The Academy kit is too small and when build the Academy+Legend combo will look just OFF.

I'm affraid that most of parts are unusefull for a Tamiya humvee or need at least lot of plasticard.
