i'm thinking of buying an Ultrasonic cleaner to clean my airbrushes. What kind of solution do you use or do you use just water?
Thanks
Tom

I also use the same but I found I put it in a jar with some more heavy duty stuff, in this case I am cleaning after a enamel run with lacquer thinner. I have put IPA and other cleaners in the jar for acrylics too. I just did not feel comfortable filling the whole sonic cleaner tub with anything other than water. As a disclaimer I am not sure this is safety approved and so far I have not blown up the room/house.

Placing it in a glass jar is fine and very economical.
I use empty tamiya enamel bottles which is very small. Just place the nozzle, cap, etc inside and you can fill it with whatever thinner you're using. less wastage and you could actually re-use the bottle again. Cleaning the whole AB without letting the liquid near the valve assembly is a bit tricky especially when the color cup is built in. It might take a bit of clips and hangers to suspend the front area of the AB
