So I am getting back into the braille scale since a 20+ year hiatus. Mostly out of necessity since I have limited space for storage or display. All that being said I have been bit by the German vehicle bug and want to travel down that road for a while.
So is there any brand or manufacturer to shy away from? I am not a rivet counter so complete accuracy is not a huge deal to me just something that fits well and not overly too thick. Thanks for the input.

I like Dragon for the detail, but they can be as much as some 1/35 kits. Roden offers some good variety. Heavy attachment points and some cleanup required, but many choices, and you can't beat the box art! Those are the kits I have experience with.

Hi Dan,
I have just made a Revell Cromell Mk IV and it went together like a dream and the detail is very good, I have also made some of Airfix's newer kits and they are very nice.
I would recommend both these manufacturer's from my experience's.
Enjoy

Flyhawk, who is mainly known for fine (but pricey) PE, is beginning an excellent line of 1/72 plastic kits - and reasonably priced. Search under "products". http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&prev=search&rurl=translate.google.ca&sl=zh-CN&u=http://www.flyhawkmodel.com/
